Innovation has always been the hallmark of TaylorMade golf clubs and TaylorMade R9 series introduced in early 2009 is no exception. The new series includes R9, R9 TP, R9 R9 460 and 460 drivers and R9 and R9 TP TP fairway woods. (TP Tour Preferred means.) And it's probably the most customizable and adjustable clubs on the market.
The main innovations of the series TaylorMade R9 is a feature called Flight Control Technology (FCT). CTF allows the golfer to establish the loft, lie and face angle of eight different positions. Combine CTF mobile technology TaylorMade pesos (available in R9 TaylorMade drivers, except R9 460 models), and golfers have the ability to affect flight from side to side of the ball up to 75 meters.
That's a lot of customization options. Indeed, with eight positions and three options for weight, as some have called the TaylorMade R9 "24 drivers in one." According to TaylorMade, adjustments can be made in seconds.
