Golf is a thinking man (and woman) in the game. But too much thinking can get you into trouble. This is why many players with low golf handicap try keep game as simple as possible. Instead of running through a litany of checkpoints before striking to identify three or four songs, then the key the elimination of the paralysis that often comes more than analysis. Or, as a student of golf course said: "Just hit the ball."
The "Keep It Simple, Stupid" method works on almost all golf courses, driving to the bet. But the area where it seems to work best in shots in full swing. These are vaccines so many things can go wrong that players tend to focus too much on the mechanics of shooting, instead of three or four key points that should be a dramatic change.
Driver
stable home: Take a position wide, about the width shoulders. Play the ball on the heel before. Bend your hips comfortably. Balance.
Create Coil: Loop back shoulder, turning the left shoulder with you all the way behind the ball at the top. Try twisting your hips more than half on the shoulders. Or, as Tiger Woods loves words, "Turn your shoulder twice as far as your hips."
Policing: Beginning of the descent from the beginning. Move weight on your front foot, rotate the hips and shoulders. Arms and hands after the last shot out of the club head full extension with your hands. At the back of the ball is a good way to ensure sweeping the ball off the tee.
Again, this is an example of a short list of key control points for hitting the driver. You can have different ideas. Good. The key is to bring order a process if not chaotic, which relaxes around and creates consistency. Here are some examples.
